This role involves performing field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. The technician will communicate with project managers, other technicians, client representatives, and contractor representatives regarding project requirements and testing results. Responsibilities include transporting material samples to the laboratory, preparing and submitting data and observation reports, and maintaining equipment, vehicles, and work areas. There may be opportunities to assist with scheduling and dispatching technicians. Adherence to strict safety standards is paramount.
