About The Position

TriVector Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician III to support its Electrical Fabrication and Test Facility, primarily fabricating avionics hardware. The role includes printed circuit board and box assembly, cable and harness fabrication, and electrical testing as required. Work must follow pre-approved procedures and applicable standards. The technician performs precision and general assembly in both an open shop and an environmentally controlled clean room, and may need to work overtime to meet schedules. The position may be contingent upon award.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship is required.
At least four years of general experience in electrical fabrication, test, and assembly involving vehicles, systems, subsystems, and/or components; education may substitute, with an associate's degree equivalent to two years of experience.
Knowledge of and work experience with space-flight hardware.
Familiarity with and ability to read electrical schematics and design drawings.
Overtime will be required.

An associate's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical fabrication and assembly.
Hand solder components.
Populate printed circuit boards.
Assemble electrical cable harnesses.
Apply polymeric materials, including potting, staking, and conformal coating.
Perform box-level assembly and wiring.
Complete and maintain certifications to relevant NASA and IPC standards, including the NASA-STD-8739 series, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC WHMA-A-620 with Space Addendum.
Adhere to electrostatic discharge guidelines.
Perform precision and general assembly in the open shop and in an environmentally controlled clean room.
Work overtime as needed to complete work on schedule.
