We are seeking an Engineering Technician (30081) to support testing, maintenance, and repair of electronic warfare (EW) assets. This individual will perform routine electronic testing and repair, maintain records, assist with parts tracking, and support inventory activities. Work will initially be performed at the customer’s facility to receive training and become familiar with the equipment and procedures. The position will subsequently transition to a contractor-operated off-site depot facility. This role requires in-person support.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of electronics
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate test, maintenance, and inventory records.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certificate, associate degree, or military training in electronics or a related field.
  • Prior exposure to electronic testing, repair, maintenance, or assembly
  • Soldering certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Quality assurance or electronics inspection certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Familiarity with electronic components, schematics, and electrostatic discharge precautions.
  • Experience with parts ordering, material tracking, or inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic testing
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation
  • Perform disassembly, assembly, component replacement, and repair
  • Use basic electronic test equipment, such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
  • Read and follow technical instructions, wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance procedures
  • Perform soldering and desoldering
  • Record test results, identified discrepancies, completed maintenance, and parts used.
  • Receive, label, organize, and issue parts and materials while maintaining accurate tracking records.
  • Conduct physical inventories and help maintain accountability for customer assets, tools, test equipment, and consumables.
  • Perform basic visual inspections using established checklists and report discrepancies
  • Maintain an organized work area and follow applicable safety, electrostatic discharge, security, and quality procedures.
