About The Position

Apply building expertise to generate industry leading prototype products for our customers. Responsibilities are expected to increase from lab builder to providing engineering support in the field. Will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous internal and external teams to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Computer competency using Microsoft Office.
3+ years of automotive shock absorber prototyping or similar experience.
HS graduate or equivalent
AA degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

Ability to use lathe, mill, saws, etc. is preferred.
Ability to learn and understand data acquisition and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Perform builds, teardowns and provides written reports to support R&D testing efforts under direction of engineering staff.
Collects, records, summarizes and maintains data on all work and effectively communicates information to engineering.
Maintain shop organization and cleanliness.
Lead laboratory testing as assigned.
Organize and support offsite field testing with engineering team.
Follow current process as well as drive changes to increase efficiency.
Key contributor in the R&D process through builds and tuning efforts.
Works in a safe manner in accordance with Fox policies.
