About The Position

Osi Vision is seeking an Engineering Technician II for a temporary 12-week position. This role requires an active Secret clearance, upgradeable to TS/SCI. The Engineering Technician II reports directly to a Material Coordinator Task Lead and is a key team member responsible for the efficient execution of CPSD requirements within the Demilitarization functional area. The position is primarily dedicated to demilitarization tasks but involves cross-training to support various program aspects as needed.

Requirements

Active Secret Clearance (upgradeable to TS/SCI)
Ability to use a desktop computer or laptop
Knowledge of Microsoft Programs and pertinent micro-processing programs
H.S. Diploma Required

Nice To Haves

AA or Bachelors Degree (Technical) preferred
A minimum of at least 2-4 years of experience as a Engineering Technician preferred

Responsibilities

Adhere to project operational directives, security, and safety requirements as outlined in the performance work statement (PWS).
Provide direct technical expertise and contributions to the daily activities of the contract.
Coordinate and cooperate with supervisors, coworkers, and customers to execute duties, including following specific instructions, assembling or constructing simple equipment or parts, servicing or repairing simple instruments, extracting engineering data, and processing data using well-defined methods.
Meet established technical, cost, labor, and contract management expectations.
Follow standard work methods on recurring assignments and receive explicit instructions for unfamiliar assignments.
Perform standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations.
Conduct a variety of tests using established methods.
Prepare test specimens, adjust and operate equipment, record test data, note deviations, extract engineering data, process data using elementary algebra and geometry, and present data in a prescribed form.
