Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve product quality issues and inquiries.
  • Support Quality Engineers with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality notifications.
  • Investigate product, test, and process issues across multiple product lines and business units using schematics, diagrams, procedures, and verbal or written instructions.
  • Perform hands-on evaluations, including inspections, testing, measurements, data collection, failure analysis, and support of customer returns (RMA).
  • Travel periodically (~10%) to the Montana manufacturing site to learn processes, support investigations, and collaborate with site teams.
  • Document test results, findings, and conclusions clearly in reports, databases, logbooks, procedures, and customer-facing communications.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Support to drive timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Follow established quality systems and procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Comply with all safety, health, and security requirements; maintain a clean and safe work environment; attend required training; report hazards or incidents; and use equipment and protective gear properly.
  • Develop familiarity with current manufacturing and engineering processes.
  • Perform product rework as required based on testing outcomes.
