About The Position

Engineering Technician I

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Months/Years of Experience: At least one (1) year experience performing simple routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures.

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be willing to obtain ordinance certification within the first year. ~20% travel required. Lift up to 50lbs.

• Demonstrated experience with the ability to follow/understand Standard Operating Procedures
• Background in environmental equipment maintenance and operations
• Self-motivated, willing to learn
• Strong work ethic
• Team oriented

Skills Needed: Competent with hand and power tools and operation of maintenance equipment

Duties: Construct and test cables and wiring harnesses from drawings. Use drawings, general and special test equipment to test cables, wiring harnesses, populated printed circuit boards, receivers, and transmitters. Use drawings, general and special tools and test equipment to assemble, test, and troubleshoot TM/FTS kits. Integrate TM/FTS kits into missiles prior to test missions.

Comments: Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as a condition of employment.
