About The Position

Supply Chain Management Inc. (SCMI1) has an exciting opportunity in support of Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) for an Engineering Technician with an electrical focus. Your resume must have the required skills and 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) to be considered for the position. Your candidacy is subject to customer approval and acceptance, and clearing the required background check. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with background and applicable required job experience.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) in troubleshooting, repairing or testing US Naval ship structural, mechanical, or electrical equipment/systems, independently or leading a team.
• 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) independently or leading a team performing Formal material condition assessments (TSRA, ICMP, INSURV or similar) of US Navy ship's systems.
• 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) in communicating troubleshooting issues (if any) or assessments with official reports.
• Documented experience with MS Office, Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Electronic Departure from Specifications (eDFS), Navy Ship's Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR), and/or TASS-Info.
• Experience in assessment and oversight of repairs of U.S. Navy ships’ fresh water production, fuel oil, lube oil and pollution abatement equipment including the associated pumps, piping, and PLC controllers.
• Experience in interpreting naval engineering drawings and piping diagrams.
• Experience is primarily electrical in nature, but is a combination of mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Responsibilities
