About The Position

Supply Chain Management Inc.1.com (SCMI1) has an exciting opportunity in support of Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) for an Engineering Technician with an electrical focus, specifically shipboard electro-hydraulic equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) in troubleshooting, repairing or testing US Naval ship structural, mechanical, or electrical equipment/systems, independently or leading a team.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) in performing Formal material condition assessments (TSRA, ICMP, INSURV or similar) of US Navy ship's systems, independently or leading a team.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) in communicating troubleshooting issues (if any) or assessments with official reports.
  • Documented experience with MS Office, Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Electronic Departure from Specifications (eDFS), Navy Ship's Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR), and/or TASS-Info.
  • Experience in assessment and oversight of repairs of U.S. Navy shipboard electro-hydraulic equipment: steering systems, boat davits, cranes, elevators and hoists, or similar control and electric drive systems on high pressure hydraulic equipment.
  • Experience in interpreting naval engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
  • Electrical in nature experience.

Responsibilities
