About The Position

The Engineering Technician C performs testing and basic debugging of a variety of line-replaceable units (LRUs), circuit card assemblies (CCAs), and components. The role supports the company’s success by testing L3 products for delivery or repair and reports directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary education/an associate degree and at least 2 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of basic RF and digital signals.
• Knowledge of basic analog, digital, and RF circuitry.
• Comfort using PC-based applications.
• Basic experience using test equipment such as RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, voltage meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Department of Defense security clearance.
• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing and test.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated electronic testing in a production environment.
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting and fault isolation in a production environment.
• Assist Test Engineering with identifying trends and root causes and developing corrective actions.
• Participate in process improvement activities in test and manufacturing.
• Follow L3Harris policies and procedures, including requirements for equipment calibration, electrostatic discharge (ESD), foreign object debris/damage (FOD), and general housekeeping.
