Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience
Experience with industrial manufacturing including electro-mechanical assembly.

Nice To Haves

Highly motivated self-starter who’s able to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of manufacturing systems, production processes, technical standards, and assembly equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills including experience with MS Office products like Word and Excel.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles like 5S, error proofing, standard work, and quick changeover.

Responsibilities

Support stockroom equipment and processes enabling material picks and kitting for the production floor.
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems including assembly automation & PLCs.
Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
Perform preventative maintenance on selected stockroom equipment.
Procure equipment/parts for production processes.
Work with engineers to develop and implement manufacturing engineering plans and projects.
Coordinate with various disciplines and shifts to identify and implement process improvements.
