Join our dynamic manufacturing engineering team at the San Diego Innovation Center of Excellence, where we lead development, scale up, and transfer of products, manufacturing processes, and equipment into operations, with a primary focus on advancing Dexcom Sensor technology. Responsibilities include providing day-to-day technical support for pilot plant processes and products at our San Diego site, build readiness evaluations, and procedural updates. Where you come in: You perform routine inspections of equipment and production areas and report any faults or issues to senior technicians, engineers, or supervisors. You work closely with experienced technicians and engineers to support process improvement initiatives. You perform routine fault detection, SPC monitoring, equipment verifications, inspections, and setup activities. You diagnose process-related issues and implement corrective actions to maintain operational efficiency. You collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and support new product testing activities. You conduct preliminary investigations related to out-of-tolerance (OOT), calibration, and other equipment-related issues, including LCIs and similar investigations. You assist in creating, updating, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other technical documentation. You troubleshoot and resolve complex machine, equipment, and process-related issues. You lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma. You perform detailed root cause analysis for quality issues, equipment failures, and manufacturing incidents, including SPSe investigations. You support a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environment by adhering to quality and safety standards.
