About The Position
SimVentions is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to maintain Navy aviation laboratory environments and equipment. This is a full-time, on-site position at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD. The role requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance, and applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance. Requirements
- At least five years’ experience supporting naval platform integration laboratory environments
- Experience using electronic test instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Significant experience performing troubleshooting, replacement, and repair of electronic components
- Experience performing Test and Evaluation (T&E) of military systems or equipment
- Experience using aircraft wiring diagrams and demonstrated knowledge of proper aircraft wiring rules and techniques
- Familiarity with Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) manuals
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment with or without assistance (50+ lbs.)
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required
- US Citizenship is required
