About The Position

Westgate Branson Woods Resort is seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician 3 to join their dynamic Resort Operations team. This position plays a key role in maintaining the resort's facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding to guest requests with efficiency and professionalism.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC experience within a resort or commercial environment.
Written and verbal communication in English is expected.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license required by the resort.
Universal EPA HVAC license required by the resort.
Regularly, the team member must lift, move, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.
Strong communication skills required to excel in interactions with guests and colleagues.
Ability to be versatile, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work with enthusiasm and focus.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Candidates are required to pass a background check, drug test, and demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Perform and lead engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, repairs, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and proper operation of MEP systems following resort guidelines.
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of HVAC and mechanical components.
Diagnose plumbing fixtures, handle clogs, and conduct repairs and equipment replacements.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, such as breakers and contactors.
Repair and troubleshoot appliances and household fixtures.
Install, repair, and replace tiles, grout, vinyl, and carpet as needed.
Lead small construction projects, including drywall, carpentry, concrete, and flooring.
Work with pools, spas, and water features, including chemical balancing and maintenance of all MEP equipment.
Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for work.
Operate resort operations software and devices (HotSOS and other applicable systems).
Read and interpret technical data, blueprints, and OEM manuals.
Communicate professionally via radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions.
Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management.
Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools needed for the job.
Work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Lead and implement safety practices and guidelines.
Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property.
Communicate and interpret guest needs with positive interactions to reach resolutions.
Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.
Represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior.
Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.
