About The Position

As an Engineering Technician I, you will be responsible for completing preventive maintenance, guest service calls, engineering projects, and general repairs such as painting, caulking, plumbing, electrical, etc. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and electronic issues, including basic component replacements. Additionally, you will install, program, and troubleshoot TVs, remotes, and other in-room tech devices. You will also assist with inventory checks to ensure materials, parts, and tools are available. This role requires the safe and effective use of hand/power tools and software systems (e.g., HotSOS), including working at heights with proper PPE. You will identify hazards, follow safety protocols, and comply with all resort policies and procedures. Interacting positively with guests and staff, maintaining a professional appearance, and supporting resort leadership with assigned tasks are also key aspects of this position. Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in Engineering/Maintenance/Trades operations within a resort or commercial environment.
  • Must communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and resort leadership.
  • Written and verbal communication in English is expected.
  • Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various tasks, perform effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Regularly, the team member must lift, move, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.
