About The Position

This role involves completing basic testing, services, or troubleshooting of SEL products and processes under the direction of experienced staff. The specialist will provide status updates to staff and customers, communicate effectively with teams and internal partners, and learn department processes while identifying opportunities for improvement. The position requires developing basic proficiency in supporting specific operational or R&D disciplines, learning and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operation, and World Class Manufacturing Principles, with a focus on understanding, creating, and simplifying.

Requirements

Two years’ relevant experience
Able to efficiently operate Windows and MS Office
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)

Nice To Haves

Two years’ experience working with SEL products
Experience with computer-controlled test equipment
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, electronic schematics, and wiring diagrams

Responsibilities

Complete basic testing, services, or troubleshooting of SEL products and processes in accordance with defined procedures under the direction of more experienced staff.
Provides status updates to SEL staff and customers.
Communicates effectively with team and internal partners and customers.
Learn and follow department processes while communicating opportunities for improvement to documentation or work instructions.
Represent your team by participating in collaborative improvement efforts.
Develop basic proficiency in the activities required to support one of the Operation Team’s disciplines (i.e. Flowline product failures, Product Hospital, test infrastructure support, or Test Lab), or R&D’s disciplines (i.e. Lab Support, Product Test, Infrastructure, or Compliance).
Learn and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operation, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Other duties as assigned.
