About The Position

Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection is a luxury resort located on over 700 acres of vineyards and farmland in Napa Valley. It features 135 cottage guestrooms and suites, a collection of Vineyard Homes and Villas, Halehouse spa, three unique dining venues including Bear, and a range of thrilling adventures. The resort, with its 100-year Napa Valley history, has evolved into a deeply-rooted luxury destination. The Engineering Supervisor will be a hands-on professional responsible for leading and developing an engineering team across both technical and operational areas. This role involves overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all team members, and contributing to the overall business, guest, and team member experience within the Auberge family.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-4 year experience as an Engineer / Maintenance Technician, preferably within a hotel or property management environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to operate all Hotel systems and associated equipment
  • Need to be familiar with associated vendors and able to identify replacement parts, materials, and necessary tools
  • Ability to take action and make decisions whenever necessary as directed by the Director of Engineering or Chief Engineer.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management
  • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record

  • Bi-lingual - Spanish preferred
  • Experience with GSuite
  • Prior hospitality experience

Responsibilities

  • Guide team members in their roles and follow up with Chief Engineer/Director of Engineering (DOE) for any notable performance or corrective action.
  • Demonstrate ENRICH values in all interactions with team members, guests and vendors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems including all H.V.A.C&R systems, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, water and wastewater, carpentry, tile, plumbing, painting and minor automotive repairs.
  • Assume responsibilities as needed of the DOE and Chief Engineer in their absence.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of hotel fire system, water system, sewage system, and irrigation system
  • Respond to all Guest Requests within a timely manner
  • Respond to all emergency or life threatening situations
  • Follow established safety procedures
  • Log and communicate all essential information in Engineering logs
