Additionally, the Engineering supervisor will have direct reports based in both Chicago and Milwaukee. Travel will be required at times to be available for staff in both Chicago and Milwaukee.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 5+ years' standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience with gas distribution and/or transmission system design, planning, and cost estimating.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineering license.
  • Experience with Transmission Integrity Program Management and related codes (Subpart O, ASME B31.8S, ect)
  • Experience in writing and updating TIMP procedures
  • 5+ years' experience being responsible for the completion or management of tasks as a part of a project.
  • 5+ years' working with and understanding related codes (Title 49 CFR 192, PSC 135, API, ASTM, MSS, etc.).
  • 5+ years' technical Gas Operations experience in transmission line construction processes (welding, tapping, hydro test, purging, tie-ins, etc.) and/or distribution system processes.
  • 5+ years' specialty computer applications, applications such as GIS

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for executing the Transmission Integrity Management Plan (Subpart O) work required throughout the WEC gas utilities
  • TIMP documentation updates and improvement
  • Supporting TIMP audits
  • Ensuring TIMP related documentation is completed
  • Leadership of engineers and field analyst
  • Leadership of TIMP
  • Implementation of new TIMP requirement
