About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Supervisor who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining building systems. Experience with HVAC and plumbing is strongly preferred, along with a general knowledge of hotel or building maintenance.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or vocational training is a plus.
Strong hands-on experience with HVAC and plumbing systems is strongly preferred.
Experience with refrigeration, electrical, and general building maintenance is a plus.
Previous hotel, commercial building, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and building systems.
Ability to read work orders, equipment manuals, and basic plumbing or electrical diagrams.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and safe work practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

Assign and prioritize daily work orders and projects.
Perform and oversee preventive maintenance throughout the hotel.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and other mechanical equipment.
Respond to maintenance emergencies and equipment issues as needed.
Inspect completed work and ensure repairs are completed properly.
Coordinate maintenance work with other hotel departments to minimize guest disruption.
Help maintain and inspect building safety equipment and ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety requirements.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
Follow proper safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
Assist with training, scheduling, supervising, and supporting Engineering team members.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
