About The Position

As an Engineering Student for PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. in Vancouver, British Columbia, you'll have the opportunity to support innovative infrastructure projects that shape the future of your community. As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth. We are seeking Engineering Students, for our BC Region district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4-8 months starting in September 2026. This position will be under the direct supervisor of the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.

Nice To Haves

• prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating work specific scope / trades
• Participating in project meetings
• Conducting deficiency walks
• Inputting / Updating deficiency logs
• Performing quantity takeoffs
• Coordinating sub-trade work
• Creating and updating schedules using Suretrak software
• Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades
