In this position, you will be responsible for leading MOS (Maintenance Operating System) initiatives within the production and facilities department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to optimize equipment programs and troubleshoot issues to identify root cause
  • Excellent communicator who can train both hourly and salary team members
  • Must be a self-starter who will take ownership of projects and see them through to completion with limited supervision
  • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in ONE FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
  • Maintenance experience
  • Computer efficiency
  • Ability to work various shifts

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferred. Equivalent experience accepted
  • 3-5 years experience in manufacturing
  • Lean implementation
  • AutoCAD
  • High volume Mfg/Assembly
  • Maximo
  • Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between shop floor technicians and corporate engineering teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on "value-added" reporting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Optimization of current production processes and maintenance tasks
  • Lead equipment rebuilds
  • Project and Shutdown Planning with engineers and production
  • Spare part inventory auditing
  • Developing preventative / predictive maintenance practices to ensure 100% equipment uptime
  • Spare Parts MOS Board
  • Maximo Report out of key metrics around maintenance
  • Providing input on new equipment design and purchase
  • Supporting new model / equipment launch as required
  • Lead UAW Personnel
