This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing vacuum equipment in wafer fabrication, utilizing knowledge of electronic circuits, PLCs, robotics, and the ability to read schematics. The specialist will follow and complete preventive maintenance instructions, ensuring minimal equipment downtime by repairing and maintaining production and production test equipment. They will also establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures, administer training programs to ensure proper equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures, work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative, understand the implications of work and make recommendations for solutions, determine methods and procedures for new assignments, provide guidance to other non‑exempt personnel, and serve as a skilled specialist completing tasks in creative and effective ways. The ability to work with chemicals while following all required safety procedures is also necessary.

  • Must be able to work A Shift (Weekday Day shift, from Monday to Wednesday and every other Thursday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) technical degree preferred.
  • Preferred software and hardware experience.
  • Post‑secondary education or relevant military experience preferred.

Responsibilities
