About The Position

Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a 2026 summer student intern to join our Engineering Services Department! The Engineering Services team is looking for a summer intern who enjoys working with data in Excel and other programs! This role will involve cross-functional collaboration with other engineering departments, as well as our production areas.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older due to federal regulations/OSHA standards
Ability to work 100% onsite in our Downers Grove office
Full-Time: 6:00am – 2:30pm OR 7:00am – 3:30pm
Part-Time: 4 days per week, 6 hours per day (between 6:00am – 2:30pm)
Currently enrolled in college/university with Fall 2026 registration confirmed
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

Junior or higher preferred
Experience with data entry
Exposure to manufacturing environment is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a similar field

Responsibilities

Work in Excel and ERP/PLM systems to manipulate and analyze data.
Apply functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, ISNUMBER, pivot tables, simple formulas, and other tools as needed to support processes.
Create, update, and maintain documentation and work instructions across departments.
Make sure new and existing materials are clear, concise, and up to date.
Partner with Engineering and Production teams to support ongoing projects.
Participate in team meetings to support departments as needed.
