About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for an 18+ month contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company in Salt Lake City, UT. This is an individual contributor role requiring professional expertise and independent work with minimal supervision. The position focuses on managing multiple engineering projects, tracking progress against plans, and resolving operational issues to prevent delays in a regulated environment.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, BioMedical Engineering, Materials Science, or an applicable technical field.
4 years of experience in the medical device or a similarly regulated industry.
Ability to apply principles and concepts of a technical discipline to resolve issues.
Strong attention to detail in making evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Assist in the management of multiple engineering projects, prioritizing tasks and assigning team members to ensure effective resource utilization and timely project completion.
Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact project scope, budget, or timeline.
Lead engineering projects, monitor progress and performance against the project plan, and identify and resolve operational problems to minimize delays.
Manage ongoing relationships with external contractors to ensure satisfactory service standards.
