About The Position

The Apps team is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to drive delivery of new features across some of Apple's most widely used applications. This role sits at the intersection of technical execution and product vision. Here, you'll own complex deliverables, align cross-functional teams, and help ship software that reaches hundreds of millions of users. You are detail-oriented and organized, with deep experience working across Engineering, Design, and QA. You thrive in hands-on environments, anticipate dependencies before they become blockers, and bring both structure and strategic thinking to everything you work on.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in an Engineering Project Management role with a proven record of delivering software through the full project lifecycle, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years collaborating with Engineering, Design, and QA to ship applications and/or frameworks across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience managing complexity in fast-moving environments.
  • Excellent communication skills -- able to filter and distill information for the right audience at the right time.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, resolving conflicts, and leading teams to decisions.
  • Self-directed, technically oriented, and accountable.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with post-production video editing software and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Engineering, Design, QA, and cross-functional teams to manage and track deliverables across the full release lifecycle.
  • Coordinate release tasks and ensure compliance with privacy, legal, and security requirements.
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, automate routine tasks, and drive efficiency across project planning, tracking, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear, actionable documentation.
  • Provide strategic guidance on new features, process improvements, and delivery dependencies.
  • Build relationships across teams to drive execution and resolve blockers.
