Engineering Project Manager – Utilities

Bridor USA•Dallas, TX

About The Position

Bridor is expanding its North American manufacturing capacity through investments in new facilities, production lines, and equipment. As our Engineering Project Manager – Utilities, you will help deliver the infrastructure that makes this growth possible—from early engineering decisions to systems ready for production. Take ownership of the utility scope of capital projects and see your work through to operation. In this role, you will represent Bridor throughout the planning, design review, installation, testing, and commissioning of utility systems supporting our manufacturing facilities. Your core project scope will include electrical infrastructure, industrial refrigeration, and mechanical utilities. You will work directly with facility teams, engineering partners, suppliers, and contractors to translate manufacturing process needs into practical technical solutions. External engineering partners perform much of the detailed engineering; you will guide and review their work while managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and execution. The work includes greenfield food manufacturing facilities, brownfield expansions within operating plants, and utility upgrades supporting additional production capacity. It offers the opportunity to apply technical judgment on the manufacturing owner side and remain involved through startup and handover.

  • Experience delivering manufacturing utility projects involving engineering partners, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams

  • Experience managing schedules, costs, risks, and project commitments
  • Clear communication, strong organization, and practical problem-solving skills
  • Ownership of project outcomes and consistent follow-through

  • Willingness to meet the travel requirements and relocate to Dallas/Lancaster as required
  • A successful track record of leading teams and contractors on capital projects and in plant operations
  • Experience supporting large capital projects and scaling systems for global operations
  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale refrigeration systems and mechanical utilities in a high-volume production environment
  • Experience managing capital projects, engineering contractors, and technical service providers
