About The Position

Emerson is seeking a Project Management professional to join their Hydro Projects Group, based in Blue Bell, PA or Cranberry Township, PA. This role involves managing the complete lifecycle of hydro projects, from proposals and awards through planning, design, procurement, production, factory acceptance testing, delivery, field installation, subcontracting, commissioning, closeout, and warranty support. The Project Manager will contribute to providing solutions that enable power generators to operate plants at peak performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business, or other technical discipline
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Project Management, Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with Hydro, Power or Control Systems
  • Includes travel up to 20% in North America
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and leadership on multiple retrofit and new generation projects
  • Actively manage project scope, including sub-contractor scope
  • Monitor customer satisfaction throughout execution cycle and deliver outstanding results on projects, customer focus is a priority for us!
  • Actively lead and track project financial performance, identify and support opportunities for business growth
  • Develop and sustain project schedules and ensure all dates are met and issue monthly progress reports
  • Proactively estimate and lead project resources by providing technical direction and engineering support
  • Optimize utilization of global resources in support of department objectives
  • Provide consultative support for proposals and marketing.
