About The Position

Uses specialized knowledge to support key areas of the organization related to an area of expertise. Uses data, research analysis, critical thinking & problem-solving skills to support colleagues & leadership in achieving organization’s strategic objectives. Serves as a peer influencer & may direct a project or project team by applying industry experience & specialized knowledge. The Engineering Project Lead serves as a force multiplier within Product Engineering, responsible for advancing engineering work products with speed, discipline, and predictability. This role owns the coordination and sequencing of engineering effort across teams and platforms, manages interdependencies, and embeds delivery learnings to reduce friction and rework. In parallel, the QA function integrates quality controls directly into the build process — spanning test strategy, automation, and validation of non-functional requirements — acting as a critical quality gate between Build and Run. This role operates in close partnership with the IT Planning organization, as well as Operations and Engineering teams, ensuring that delivery cadence, quality outcomes, and planning commitments remain tightly aligned across the full IT delivery lifecycle. Together, these functions accelerate iteration velocity, reduce operational rework and audit risk, and ensure that patient-facing capabilities are delivered with the reliability and stability of Trinity Health's clinical and operational environment demands.
