About The Position

The Engineering Project Coordinator will take project engineering experience to track project and company financials, parts manufacture and stock, and project milestones/dependencies. This role focuses on organizing and tracking multiple projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring clear communication and adherence to schedules provided by other departments. The Engineering Project Coordinator serves as a key point of contact across departments, bridging communication between supply chain, engineering, and production teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. By maintaining detailed project schedules, this position plays a critical role in identifying potential delays, facilitating solutions, and keeping stakeholders informed. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or science field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and/or project engineering.
  • Background in Aviation, Aeronautics, or Aerospace
  • Experience in regulated environments, such as aviation or defense.
  • Ability to manage and support multiple projects and priorities

  • Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 21 and Part 23.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project

Responsibilities

  • Issuing and maintaining project schedules, factoring in task dependencies and resource allocation.
  • Integrating prototype production schedules with product production schedules.
  • Financial planning for projects.
  • Financial forecasting.
  • Collaborating with supply chain, engineering, and production leadership to facilitate adherence to the project schedule.
  • Coordinating project planning efforts while ensuring prioritization of tasks for efficient execution.
  • Maintaining alignment with FAA regulations by working closely with the Certification Manager.
  • Supporting project progress tracking and reporting to ensure visibility across departments.
  • Other duties as assigned, including contributing to special projects directed by the Certification Manager.
