About The Position

We are looking for an Engineering Program Manager to help bring structure, coordination, and operational excellence to a fast-growing engineering organization. This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Engineering, Security, and Customer-facing teams. You will help manage engineering capacity, coordinate work across multiple stakeholders, and drive execution of compliance and operational initiatives. As the first Engineering Program Manager in the organization, you will have the opportunity to establish lightweight processes that support a highly autonomous engineering culture without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy. You will work closely with engineering leadership, security teams, and customer-facing functions to ensure priorities are aligned and critical initiatives are executed effectively. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup environments, enjoys creating structure in ambiguous situations, and can balance strategic coordination with hands-on program execution.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Engineering Program Manager, Project Manager, or similar role.
Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving engineering teams and business stakeholders.
Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Experience establishing processes and operational frameworks in fast-paced or growing environments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands simultaneously.
Experience supporting engineering organizations and technical teams.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical groups.
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and high levels of autonomy.
Sufficient technical literacy to engage in conversations with engineers and technical leadership.
Experience managing project timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or other compliance and security programs.
Experience supporting audit readiness, control implementation, or compliance operations.
Startup or high-growth company experience.
Experience working with enterprise customers.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Experience in engineering operations or technical operations functions.
Experience coordinating customer-facing engineering or implementation teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate engineering initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Manage engineering capacity planning and workload visibility.
Partner with customer-facing and business teams to anticipate upcoming work and resource needs.
Facilitate prioritization discussions and help resolve competing demands.
Support implementation and operational execution of compliance initiatives.
Track deliverables, dependencies, risks, and program progress.
Establish lightweight processes that improve visibility and execution without creating unnecessary overhead.
Coordinate communication between engineering leadership, security teams, and business stakeholders.
Help manage incoming requests, operational priorities, and program backlogs.
Drive accountability and follow-through across key strategic initiatives.
