About The Position

The Apple Services Engineering team is responsible for powering services like the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books on a global scale. The Cloud Capacity and Operations team is seeking a dynamic Program Manager with strong financial analysis skills to join their organization and contribute to accelerating Apple’s overall capacity strategy. This role involves managing strategic initiatives focused on cost optimization and compute efficiency, collaborating with executive stakeholders and engineering partners to maximize budget spend, and developing business processes for data-driven decision-making. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering program management and/or financial analysis preferably in a large-scale, data-driven technology organization
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in cost optimization, financial modeling and forecasting
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business/finance, or relevant field required or relevant industry experience required

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of driving efficiency and cost savings in a fast-paced environment
  • Working understanding of the infrastructure and capacity landscape across the industry
  • Understanding of and experience with implementing cost optimization strategies
  • Knowledge of modern infrastructure technologies, frameworks, and methodologies
  • MS, OR, IE, MBA or other relevant advanced degree a plus.
