This individual will be employed by Texas A&M University-Victoria and will teach face-to-face classes within the academic programs of the University. Therefore, they will need to satisfy the expectations of SACSCOC and ABET in terms of academic credentials, as well as all other employment qualifications of the University. Further, the successful candidate for this position should have the following qualifications: A master’s degree in engineering or engineering technology from an ABET‑accredited program Industrial design experience is expected Demonstrated sensitivity to students from a wide range of academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds as well as students with disabilities Demonstrated leadership ability to lead faculty and support faculty governance Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of professional, community, and student populations Ability to plan and conduct activities that raise the profile of the A&M-Victoria engineering programs within the community and industry Self-discipline with good organizational and planning skills and able to effectively manage others.
