About The Position

The Engineering Process Specialist position is responsible for coordinating the change management processes for the engineering design team. This includes developing and implementing continuous improvement activities that support the overall goals and objectives of the company. The primary responsibility of the Process Specialist is to ensure the project team follows the engineering design and change processes, and the project deliverables are implemented on time. This role is responsible for creating and/or maintaining various engineering processes and systems and working closely with various departments to coordinate the continuous improvement of related processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field strongly preferred (or equivalent advanced experience).
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and lean principles is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient with PC's and MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust engineering processes and systems.
  • Review new processes with key stakeholders for alignment and approval.
  • Provide training to engineering and other departments on new processes and standards.
  • Serve as a coordinator to ensure clear and transparent communication between all departments.
  • Independently analyze and resolve complex engineering process bottlenecks.
  • Generate regular reports for management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate issues to relevant stakeholders and lead or coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to meet MCG business goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective measures for non-conforming products.
