About The Position

The New Product Development Planning (NPDP) team plays a critical role within Product Development Teams (PDT), enabling products to move from early design through successful launch and into revenue. We operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, driving the planning and execution required to transition new products into high-volume manufacturing. As an Engineering Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: Leading coordination and startup activities for product lines, ensuring a seamless transition from engineering development to production and high-volume manufacturing. Developing and executing optimized supply plans by integrating data from multiple sources. Monitoring product flow to ensure delivery commitments are met on time, in the correct quantity, and with the required configuration. Creating supply forecasts and performing what-if scenario analyses to support decision-making. Driving product setup activities, including product naming, Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, and routing requirements within planning systems. Aligning and validating engineering and marketing sample demand against supply forecasts. Consolidating, organizing, and presenting critical data to support downstream planning and execution activities. Analyzing manufacturing risks, capacity utilization, inventory levels, scheduling constraints, and customer demand throughout product startup and stabilization. Applying advanced analytics and optimization modeling to identify trends and develop effective supply strategies. Collaborating with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders across global teams. Identifying and driving continuous process improvements based on a thorough understanding of business processes and supply chain dependencies. Communicating complex planning processes and translating business requirements into actionable solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or 3-4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience in demand/supply planning or supply chain management within a high-technology environment.
  • Experience with supply chain modeling, optimization tools, or statistical/analytics software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with advanced Excel skills and experience in data management and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Demonstrated experience building and presenting dashboards, charts, and data visualizations to stakeholders.
