About The Position
We are seeking an Engineering Operations Manager for a full-time permanent position with a large public sector client in Missouri. Role Overview As the Engineering Operations Manager, you will support senior leadership in planning, overseeing, and administering county-level engineering and operations functions. This role blends engineering expertise, operations oversight, and staff leadership in a public service environment.
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri (required)
- 7+ years of related work experience in engineering/operations
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage daily operations while ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
- Provide leadership and supervision to engineering, technical, and operational staff
- Support emergency response operations (including nights/weekends as needed)
- Seal engineering plans under your supervision
- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets
- Oversee contracts and third-party contractors, including writing specifications
- Represent the organization in meetings with internal and external stakeholders
