About The Position

DN Solutions America is seeking an Engineering Operations and Project Manager to support the Director of Applications Engineering and keep key engineering initiatives moving. This person owns the department’s Smartsheet project task list, follows up with task owners, and gives leadership a clear view of schedules, decisions, and risks. The role also creates executive-level PowerPoint presentations and coordinates the information and meetings needed to move projects forward. It requires excellent organization, strong writing and visual communication, and the confidence to follow through with colleagues across departments and with HQ.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in project management, project coordination, engineering operations, or a comparable role supporting technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple schedules and drive follow-through across teams without direct authority.
  • Advanced Smartsheet skills, including task tracking, dashboards, reports, dependencies, and status workflows.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and a portfolio showing executive presentations built from complex information.
  • Strong Excel, writing, editing, meeting facilitation, and data-checking skills.
  • Comfort working with budgets, vendor quotations, technical terminology, and changing project priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management, communications, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, machine tools, industrial automation, engineering services, or capital facility projects.
  • Experience preparing presentations for senior leadership and coordinating work with global teams.
  • Familiarity with purchase requests, cost tracking, project documentation, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the engineering Smartsheet project task list as the central record of tasks, owners, due dates, dependencies, status, and key decisions.
  • Coordinate project schedules and cross-functional activities across applications engineering, CTC, service, sales, facilities, finance, vendors, and HQ.
  • Meet regularly with project owners to monitor progress, update schedules, identify overdue work, and drive completion of commitments.
  • Track project budgets, quotations, purchase requests, documentation, and reported figures, ensuring information is accurate and ready for leadership review.
  • Identify and escalate schedule, scope, and resource risks early, and work with project owners to develop practical recovery actions.
  • Prepare concise weekly status reports, project updates, meeting summaries, briefing materials, and follow-up communications for the Director.
  • Organize project meetings, agendas, notes, decisions, and action items, and coordinate information requests and deadlines through completion.
  • Develop and maintain professional PowerPoint presentations for HQ leadership, customers, budget reviews, facility projects, executive meetings, and engineering updates.
  • Translate technical input, drawings, data, and rough notes into clear narratives, accurate charts and tables, and polished presentations while verifying information with subject matter experts.
  • Maintain organized project files, contacts, schedules, templates, version control, and reference materials to ensure current information is accurate, accessible, and consistently presented.
