About The Position

This is a Fall Engineering or Metallurgy Co-op position at TIMET Toronto, OH. The program offers opportunities across multiple Engineering functions including Maintenance, Quality, Project Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering/Continuous Improvement. The assignment is a minimum of 3 months. The co-op student will partner with engineering teams to assist in projects, outages, and mechanical breakdowns.

Requirements

Enrolled and completed 2+ years accredited university in Engineering or similar discipline.
Basic knowledge of engineering.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing, documenting, and improving preventive maintenance or continuous improvement programs to support equipment availability and throughput.
Provide support for equipment failures and loss of production.
Assist in analyzing production delay data for establishing and documenting or modifying preventive maintenance tasks.
Provide support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
Assist with Project Engineering duties.
Work with engineer(s) to prepare, coordinate, and maintain schedules for extended production outages and major maintenance work.
Work with maintenance craftsmen and operations to meet department goals.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
