About The Position

The company is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering execution across its Systems & Integrated Solutions (SIS) portfolio, which includes Memcor, Desalitech, and OxyMem. This role is responsible for engineering delivery, technical leadership, and building high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams that support industrial and water/wastewater systems.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related)
  • 8–12 years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership roles
  • Experience delivering engineered systems for industrial, municipal, or water/wastewater applications
  • 3+ years leading teams with demonstrated ability to deliver through others
  • Strong project/program management, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Proficiency with engineering and enterprise systems (CAD, PDM/PLM, ERP/MRP)
  • Understanding of financial drivers including margin, cost of quality, and lifecycle cost
  • Experience working in global, matrixed environments with suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Strong communicator, decisive leader, systems thinker, and continuous-improvement mindset

Responsibilities

  • Own engineering execution for SIS programs and customer projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team (mechanical, electrical/controls, process, systems), including performance management, staffing, and talent development.
  • Drive early technical definition for opportunities and orders (requirements, design basis, P&IDs, equipment specs, risk assessments).
  • Provide technical leadership for systems integration, design reviews, and verification/validation activities.
  • Establish and maintain engineering standards, governance, and configuration control to improve quality and reduce rework.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, EHS, and quality requirements; champion safe design and hazard reviews.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Service to improve delivery, cost, and customer outcomes.
  • Define engineering roadmaps aligned with SIS strategy and translate priorities into execution plans, budgets, and resourcing.
  • Own engineering budgets, forecasts, and external engineering resources.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on design cycle time, first-pass quality, and engineering efficiency.
  • Support technology evaluation and adoption across membrane processes, pretreatment, automation, and digital tools.
