About the role The Engineering Manager for the Rothschild, WI facility is an onsite position that will provide the leadership for all engineering relatied programs for the faility and work closey with the Plant Director and other ky plant leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience. 7+ years in maintenance/engineering and 3+ years leading teams.
  • Project leadership, capital planning, and stakeholder management experience.
  • Knowledge of CMMS (SAP‑PM preferred), reliability practices, and root cause analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food, nutrition, or pharma‑adjacent regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to digital manufacturing, automation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Certifications in Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or PMP.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering & Maintenance Leadership
  • Provide site leadership for maintenance, engineering, utilities, and capital execution to ensure continuous production.
  • Lead development and execution of the site’s engineering vision aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Drive effective Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) and preventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Capital Planning & Project Delivery
  • Lead the site capital agenda and manage 3–5 year engineering development plans.
  • Gather requirements (RFQs/URS/Charters) from various departments to effectively scope projects, defining clear objectives, deliverables, and timelines following Kerry Engineering Standards and ways of working.
  • Partner with global/regional engineering teams to maintain standards and technology alignment.
  • Project Management Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects from concept to execution.
  • Compliance, Quality & Process Safety
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, GFSI, QSHE, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee Process Safety Management elements. Ensure robust Process Safety Management practices are in place, while EHS remains accountable.
  • Govern Management of Change (MOC) for engineering modifications.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Classified as General Business Drive Lean, TPM, and structured problem‑solving.
  • Use KPIs and CMMS insights to improve asset effectiveness.
  • Introduce new technologies to improve efficiency and sustainability.
  • People Leadership & Talent Development
  • Build, coach, and develop high‑performing engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Communicate results, progress, and action plans effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Matrix Management Collaborates effectively across functions and geographies; leads virtual and cross-functional teams.
