Wood is currently recruiting for a talented technical leader of our consulting services within the alternative fuels and low carbon sectors throughout the Americas. Wood is uniquely positioned to accelerate the development of the energy augmentation and energy transition projects of the world's leading conventional energy companies, advising on road mapping, technology definition, assessment and selection. This role will be focused on engineering and consulting services from concept through to pre-FEED stages. As Director of Alternative Fuels and Low Carbon you will be at the center of Wood’s consulting and engineering services, connected to digital, data, engineering, project delivery, and the wider business to enable you to unlock growth and market capture. This is an exciting role with responsibility for thought leadership, client engagement, team resourcing and development, and technical delivery. You will be main contributor to the development and delivery of strategic growth plans to establish and expand Wood’s existing consulting business within the downstream process and chemicals, carbon capture and power-to-fuels markets. We are looking for an experienced candidate with a strong background in engineering and client engagement and robust knowledge of the onshore conventional energies and new energies markets.
