This role is critical to driving transformation and continuous improvement at our New Century manufacturing plant. By leading engineering projects that enhance manufacturing efficiency, decarbonization, and business continuity, you directly impact the quality and reliability of the food we help bring to tables. This role typically leads to senior leadership positions within global engineering or operations management. Requirements

• Strong engineering background, ideally in chemical, mechanical, or electrical disciplines, with experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Deep understanding of food safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Ability to work confidently both independently and collaboratively, influencing diverse teams across cultures.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects, adapting to changing priorities, and delivering results under pressure.
• Genuine interest in food culture and curiosity about how consumer behaviour and future food trends shape innovation.
• Understanding of how engineering improvements translate into better food quality, nutrition, and reliability for consumers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of engineering and transformation projects at the New Century and Brantford plants, ensuring alignment with Flora Food Group standards.
• Develop project scopes, costing, and capital appropriation requests to support value creation and business continuity initiatives.
• Manage project planning, execution, and change management processes to deliver improvements in manufacturing and equipment reliability.
• Collaborate closely with factory directors, maintenance teams, procurement, and global engineering experts to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Oversee cost management, schedule control, and procurement activities to achieve on-time, in-full, and on-budget delivery for all assigned projects.
