About The Position

Google is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the architecture and development of EGI Foundry (Enterprise AI Platforms and Agent Architecture), a platform for building, composing, and operationalizing enterprise intelligence applications. The role adapts modern AI platform paradigms to Google’s enterprise scale and involves designing deep ontologies that model enterprise workflows, documents, and data entities so agents can reason over complex enterprise contexts with high fidelity. The manager will lead technical strategy and execution for vertical solutions using Generative AI, large language models, and agent-based systems; architect robust, scalable, and secure AI-driven enterprise applications; and manage and mentor Software Engineers. The role also entails staying current with AI/ML advances and collaborating with product managers, researchers, and other stakeholders on product roadmaps and technical solutions. Individual compensation is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The stated U.S. pay range is $207,000–$300,000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
