This role is responsible for maintaining the building’s physical, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring their efficient functioning. It also involves ensuring the security, cleanliness, preventive maintenance, and repair of all engineering department tools, equipment, and safety features in accordance with established procedures and budgets. The position requires keeping maintenance and engineering storerooms and workspaces clean and orderly, storing all tools, equipment, and spare parts properly, and taking proper care of tools and equipment used to perform tasks. The role also includes completing delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner, responding to after-hour calls as necessary, and immediately reporting and addressing unsafe conditions. Other tasks may be assigned.
