Engineering Leader, Natural Gas Power Projects

Intersect
$221,000 - $260,000Remote

About The Position

As part of Intersect's Engineering team, you'll lead the technical strategy and execution of a growing portfolio of natural gas power generation projects integrated with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and clean energy assets. This portfolio currently includes approximately 5 GW of reciprocating engine and gas turbine-based generation projects at various stages of development and execution. You'll build and scale a multidisciplinary engineering organization, establish the systems and standards that enable consistent project delivery, and provide technical leadership across development, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations. This role combines strategic leadership, technical depth, and cross-functional collaboration to help deliver reliable, scalable power infrastructure that supports Intersect's growth objectives. This team plays a critical role in advancing Intersect's mission to accelerate the clean energy transition by developing and delivering large-scale power infrastructure projects. The Engineering team partners closely with Development, Project Management, Procurement, Construction, Operations, and external partners to bring complex energy projects from concept through commissioning. Joining this team offers the opportunity to influence engineering strategy, drive innovation, and help shape the future of Intersect's growing power generation portfolio.
