Performs laboratory testing of electrical and electronic products in accordance with approved test procedures, laboratory work instructions, applicable standards and regulations, and quality-system requirements. The position initially works under general supervision and progresses toward independently conducting assigned testing after completing the required training and competency approvals. The technician prepares test configurations, operates laboratory instrumentation and software, records results, identifies abnormal conditions, performs basic troubleshooting, and communicates test status and technical observations to laboratory personnel and, occasionally, customers. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, interested in learning, attentive to detail, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Prior electromagnetic compatibility testing experience is not required. Position-specific training will be provided.
