About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Analyst Support Engineer to manage and implement engineering lab strategic projects and day-to-day administrative functions within multiple engineering labs, with specific focus on safety, security, and compliance using established doctrine and governance. You will be creative and innovative, possessing strong organizational, coordination, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. In the position, you must be able to collaborate with customers, employees, and senior leaders when implementing process and procedural changes. Travel as needed to support mission and program execution, locally within WSMR, as well as business travel to other US locations, and outside the Continental U.S.. This. position is an onsite role located at WSMR in White Sands, NM. This position supports the Mission Capability Verification Center (MCVC) in White Sands, New Mexico. This person will join a team that is supporting an active radar system Integration and Test site on White Sands Missile Range. As part of the team, responsibilities may include supporting activities to maintain the posture of compliance requirements regarding safety, security, process, and procedures. Responsibilities may include coordinating activities between Raytheon and Range personnel.

Requirements

  • A Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Experience in an engineering lab environment area such as: safety, security, compliance and/or property management
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
  • Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety, security, compliance and property management
  • Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination
  • Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers

Responsibilities

  • Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies
  • Management, coordination and implementation of Environment Health Safety and Sustainment Property & Metrology Management
  • Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets
  • Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Oversee audit/assessment preparation.
  • Overseeing Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long-range objectives, including engineering customer goals
  • Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation, utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
  • Develop and implement communication plans, providing consulting support to functional and engineering customer management
  • Work to influence stakeholders within and outside responsible area at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures
  • Work autonomously with limited oversight; provide professional input, guidance, and problem solving
