Requirements
- Enrolled in Bachelor's Degree program in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
- Successfully completed Sophomore year or higher and returning to school upon completion of intern or co-op
- Ability to drive to and from work location
- Willingness to work in a chemical plant environment
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and physically willing and able to climb stairs and ladders

- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale
Responsibilities
- Partner with our talented engineers and staff to enhance chemical processes, improve yields, reduce waste, and cut down cycle times
- Help shape project objectives and scope by analyzing stakeholder requirements and basic design packages
- Ensure all projects and activities align with engineering standards, Safety and Environmental regulations, and plant operating protocols
- Work with facilities and reliability engineers to understand maintenance, procurement, and reliability programs in chemical plants
- Perform and verify engineering calculations using standard methods and principles
- Conduct engineering cost, feasibility, and planning studies, providing recommendations based on stakeholder needs and data analysis
- Team up with production and technical staff for process troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Contribute to the implementation of our Operational Excellence program and support site-wide Process Improvement/Lean Manufacturing initiatives
