About The Position

The City of Dunwoody is seeking an engineering intern for 2026 to work within the city’s Public Works Department. This program provides students with the opportunity to learn under the supervision of registered engineers and other professionals in a collaborative and innovative local government setting. The 2026 Internship Program will offer an intern the opportunity to support current projects and gain experience in GIS data collection and analysis, infrastructure maintenance, transportation planning, design and construction. The intern must be self-motivated, receptive to feedback, eager to learn new skills, and comfortable working onsite in a team environment. This internship may have the potential to lead to a co-op opportunity.
