Corteva Agriscience is seeking a student for a full-time internship within our FS&RE Engineering group in Indianapolis, IN. Interns will work closely with experienced scientists and technical experts with opportunities to build skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and network across the company.

Requirements

• Working on a B.S. in Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to budget time effectively and efficiently to organize their workload.
• Interpersonal skills include interacting with Maintenance and Operations personnel, union and non-union contract labor and companies, management, engineering peers, and R&D personnel.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Be able to apply problem-solving techniques used in engineering classes to accomplish responsibilities outlined previously.

Responsibilities

• Learn and work safely within the Corteva site safety requirements.
• Assist with tagging of serviceable assets on projects.
• Fill out data capture forms for equipment as needed.
• Interact with emaint (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) to ensure assets are properly entered into the system for future maintenance activities.
• Provide project engineering support to project managers on capital projects.
• Work with researchers and building occupants to develop scopes for small projects.
• Troubleshoot facility issues with Operations and Maintenance personnel.
• Help with CAD design and changes for small projects.
• Validate equipment & process information out on the campus for engineers.
