About The Position

The Engineering Intern will work at Corteva Agriscience’s Valdosta, Georgia facility, part of its Crop Protection manufacturing network. The internship provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations, process optimization, equipment reliability, data-driven problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers and operations professionals and contribute to site projects in a collaborative manufacturing environment focused on operational excellence, process reliability, environmental stewardship, and safety.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a four-year engineering degree program or pre-engineering studies.
• High degree of ownership.
• Desire to work in a chemical manufacturing facility.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work and engage with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply safety practices in a chemical manufacturing facility.
• Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives to advance EH&S excellence.
• Learn site processes and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Engage with operators to understand process challenges and develop solutions.
• Learn, track, and analyze site key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerApps to communicate key information to the site.
• Collect and analyze data to support projects and improvements.
